Jannette Araceli Aguilera

Master of Arts in Teaching

Hometown

Vallejo, California

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were

My mom Araceli, dad Norberto, my partner Stephen, my sisters Jackie, Jennie, and Jessica. I would also like to thank the rest of my loving family, coworkers, colleagues, students, and friends. Without them, I would not have had the courage to follow through with my dream of becoming a teacher and growing myself as an individual.

My favorite SMC memory is

Having my family and fiance watch me give my final presentation for my Capstone project. It gave me great joy to see them there and was my proudest moment of the program. Please see my e-porfolio here: https://sites.google.com/stmarys-ca.edu/jannettes-eportfolio and last but not least, my capstone project: https://sites.google.com/view/hidden-figures-figuras-ocultas

I'm looking forward to most

Continue teaching my second-grade students within our wonderful Spanish dual immersion program at Willow Cove Elementary at Pittsburg USD. I would like to inspire our future leaders and to grow myself as a determined educator.
