While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were

My biggest supporter has always been my mom, Irma Ventura, who raised me on her own to help become the person I am today. With my grandparents' help, my mom made sure I had everything I needed to achieve my goals. Aside from my mother, I could not be where and who I am today without the help of my friends, the staff, and faculty who have encouraged me to be the best version of myself.

My favorite SMC memory is

One of my favorite memories while being at SMC is having the opportunity to travel to France for an international Lasallian conference. It was at this conference I learned about the impact being a Lasallian has on people's lives, including my own. Due to this opportunity, I was also able to visit other Lasallian communities in Europe, including La Casa Generalizia.

I'm looking forward to most

After graduation, I am looking forward to meeting new people, learning new things, and traveling to new places. One day I hope to go back to school and earn my master’s degree and maybe one day a Ph.D.
In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how greatly you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.
