While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were my parents. My parents are my biggest cheerleaders, constantly rallying behind me every step of the way to follow my dreams. They've always encouraged me to pursue my education because knowledge truly shapes a person's character.

My favorite SMC memory is

My favorite SMC memory was traveling to Italy and France during my senior year Jan Term. The best part about the trip was that I went with one of my roommates! I learned so much about not only art and different cultures on the trip, but also about myself. I'm very thankful to Professor Poundstone for making the trip a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm looking forward to most

After graduation, I'm looking forward to furthering my love for politics and the law through attending law school. These avenues will allow me to bring change into the world and I plan on having my voice heard!

— Martin Luther King Jr.
