Award Bio

Allison Johnson is excited and honored to receive an award from Saint Mary’s. She is from Fresno, Calif., and has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the Bay Area. Allison feels blessed to have majored in Philosophy and been part of a department that is so success oriented. She says she owes her honors and successes to all her Philosophy professors and administrators.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were

My mom, my dad, my brother, and my boyfriend, Chris. They were consistently there for me and supported all of my academic and personal decisions. I owe all my successes to them and love them very much! I could not have done it, however, without the constant support of my best friend, Ashley. I am thankful for the memories that we have and for the experiences we have planned for the future.

My favorite SMC memory is

Anything to do with the College Republican Club. I am most proud of being co-president of the club and successfully revamping it to have over 130 members. Also, I got to share the club's success with some of my best friends!

I'm looking forward to most

Attending Pepperdine University (with my best friend, Ashley) in August and receiving my masters in public policy. I hope to then attend law school out of state and become a successful lawyer and political figure. In the meantime, a nice glass of wine to celebrate will do.
